Auskick action

2/07/2008 11:37:00 AM
THE wet start to the footy warm-up fined up for the action-packed game.

The 7s had a great game with the teams working together to move the ball down to the goal square.

Good kicking from Charlie Abbey, Kurt, Jim and Tom Chadwick. Noah O’Reilly Sutherland kicked a great goal early in the game and was consistently on the ball.

Other goals were scored by Kelly Castle, Lachy, Tully Griffiths and Charlie Wrigglesworth.

Lachy kicked a huge goal almost from the centre line.

Tom Chadwich showed his skills with a ball bounce and then kick to team-mate Kelly Castle who then kicked a goal.

Good running and skillful play from Flynn Winstanley, Tom Norrish, Mason Beecham, Ethan and Hayden.

Well done to all the boys in the 7s (apologies to those I missed) who each week are further developing their skills and are working well together as a team.

A well-spirited game with the final play seeing Jayden passing the ball to Charlie Wrigglesworth who kicked a goal on the final siren.

That was the last Auskick game as we break for school holidays.

It’s recommencing on Saturday, July 26 at our normal starting time of 9am.

Over the school holidays, on Tuesday, July 8, East Perth Football club will be holding a coaching clinic at Glouster Park between 10am and 12pm.

It is open for ages five years up to 13 years with all kids welcome.

You don’t have to be currently playing to attend this clinic as it is for all skill levels.

Plus everyone that attends has a chance to win giveaways and prizes will be awarded throughout the clinic.
